Biography

Bobby B. Ashrafi joined Boss Law Firm, APLC in 2010 where he focuses primarily on real estate litigation. In his practice, Mr Ashrafi also provides legal counsel to title insurers on claims involving liens, encumbrances and boundary disputes affecting residential and commercial real property.

Prior to Boss Law Firm, APLC, Mr. Ashrafi volunteered as a trial attorney with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, where he conducted criminal jury trials.

Mr. Ashrafi began his legal career as an associate at Latham & Watkins, LLP where he focused on business/real estate litigation as well as on transactional matters in the areas of project finance and real estate acquisitions.

Mr. Ashrafi earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law where he was an active member of the Pepperdine Law Review.

While attending law school, Mr. Ashrafi was a judicial extern in the chambers of the Honorable S. James Otero, Central District of California where he drafted bench memoranda and orders on motions on matters in diverse areas of the law, such as immigration law, patent law and criminal law. In addition, he worked as a Summer Associate for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in New York where he coordinated the due diligence of a multi-million dollar acquisition of a Panamanian mining company.

Mr. Ashrafi lived in Spain for almost three years. He is fluent in Spanish and Farsi and knows basic Italian and French.
