Gavin E. Jack

Gavin Jack joined Dillon Miller Ahuja & Boss, LLP as an associate attorney in 2026, bringing a robust background in civil litigation and real estate law. His practice focuses on defending real estate professionals, engineering professionals, non-profit entities and public entities in complex litigation, including class action, employment, professional liability, and public entity defense matters. He also provides transactional services such as document review, contract preparation, and general business advisory.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Jack was an associate at Collins + Collins and Brockman, Quayle, Bennett, where he managed all phases of litigation—from depositions and discovery to trial preparation and oral arguments. He has extensive experience in motion practice, mediation, and settlement.

Mr. Jack’s background also includes real estate contract review for a national telecommunications company and a legal externship with the Santa Cruz County Superior Court, where he drafted appellate memoranda and tentative rulings for civil and criminal motions.

Mr. Jack earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he was a CALI Award recipient for Legal Research and Writing and a member of the Law and Business Society. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, cum laude, from the University of San Diego.

Outside of work, Mr. Jack enjoys surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, golf, and basketball. He is also committed to community service, supporting men’s health, children’s hospitals, and Habitat for Humanity.
