About David
Since 1985, David G. Boss has actively represented title insurers, developers and individuals in real estate matters. He continues to provide legal counsel to title insurers in connection with the coverage for, and resolution of, numerous title insurance claims as well as the underwriting of title insurance transactions involving residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and publicly owned or managed lands.
Mr. Boss is often engaged to assist clients in addressing lien problems, encumbrances, easements, property boundary issues, and encroachment disputes and represents title insurers and institutional clients in matters concerning governmental regulation and police powers affecting real property, including real property tax and assessment issues and related disputes.
David Boss has been a featured speaker through the years for legal and real estate industry groups on title law, boundary law, easements, and title insurance related issues. He helped author, and continues to provide annual updates for, California Easements and Boundaries, a treatise published by the California C.E.B.
Mr. Boss holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from U.C.L.A. and graduated from the University of San Diego, School of Law in 1984. He resides with his wife in San Diego and enjoys skiing and surfing.
